GenealogyUK® (formerly Borderlines Research) is a traditional team of genealogists and probate researchers with a difference. Our clients receive more than just advice as they can be sure to receive a service that is tailored specifically to their needs, whether it is a small research task, examination of records in local archives, or a more complex long term research project. Our researchers of many years experience, with a long standing commitment to providing excellent service, ensure that personal service whatever the task.
Our Experience Shows!
Our partners, Janet Bishop and Ian Marson, have a wealth of expertise covering all aspects of research throughout the UK. Through years of running research practices in England and Scotland, both have built up a heritage and vision that has led to accreditations with The Association of Genealogists and Researchers (AGRA) in Archives and the Association of Scottish Genealogists and Researchers in Archives (ASGRA). Janet and Ian have served as council members and also had chairmanship of their respective organisations. Janet still serves as chair of ASGRA council, Ian being the current ASGRA Secretary. Ian was elected a fellow of AGRA in 2013, and Janet a Fellow of ASGRA in 2018.
